• Opening the hood, trunk or doors will sound the siren and flash the turn signals.

• An adjustable shock sensor also sounds the alarm if your vehicle is hit.

• A microwave radar sensor protects the inside of the vehicle from intruders even if the top is down. This sensor detects mass, but is not set off by wind or vibration.

• When the alarm is set, a starter kill relay is activated.

As with all our Miata products, the alarm is straightforward to install — no soldering or drilling is required. We provide full-color, step-by-step instructions that show how and where everything fits.

Our new system is designed to work with with base model Miatas that do not have the factory-fitted keyless entry system. It includes two key-ring-sized remote control transmitters. These will arm and disarm the alarm and can operate the optional trunk release kit. However the system does not offer keyless entry and does not include power door lock motors.

The system protects the doors, hood and trunk should they be opened. It also has a dual-zone shock sensor to detect an impact to your car and a dual-zone radar sensor that detects movement by intruders even with the top left down! When activated, the alarm sounds a siren and flashes both turn signals.
